Where can I get (very) inexpensive furniture that still looks good?

I am on a VERY tight budget. I need all new bedroom furniture and office/organization.

I need:
a bed
a desk (I really just want a table top with 4 legs, and maybe a drawer or 2)
storage (a lot)
a couch (a settee would fit well)
and maybe some little arm chairs

I know Ikea is good, that is where I'm going to get my bed from. But everything else I need some help with.

My daughter and her Fiance are looking for the same things and amazingly, have found like new stuff at garage sales! everything from chairs to storage tubs and file cabinets... for cheap cheap but great quality stuff!
