Toddler Bed Mattress

Choosing a Baby and Toddler Mattress
Choosing the right mattress for your baby can be a confusing business. You want a product that is stylish and comfortable, but you also demand a mattress that's safe and hygienic.
The Right Choice of Filling
The choice of filing for your baby or toddlers mattress has to be one of teh most important considerations when choosing a suitable candidate.
There are basically 4 types of filling available (varies between manufaturers)
Foam: Is usually a specially developed grade of polyurethane foam for nursery products. It should be manufactured without the use of antimony, arsenic or phosphorous.
Springs: Help to promote hygiene, increases air flow and regulation of body temperature.
Coir Fibre: Normally 100% natural filling and environmentally friendly. Manufactured from natural fibres bonded with natural lates (varies between manufacturers). Provides a naturally 'springy' feel but is still resilient, durable and breathable.
Wool: Is a soft luxurious sleeping surface. Look out for the premium range of mattresses which will often include 100% natural wool for superior comfort. Its a material that regulates body temperature and moisture thus creating a healthy sleeping environment.
Mattress Covers
With such a great choice of mattresses on the market its quite easy to overlook the importance of the mattress cover. You should always try to find a removable, machine washable air-permeable cover for the simple reason that they are easy maintenance and create a soft and comfortable sleeping environment for your baby.
Sleeping Tips
The better your baby sleeps the better you'll sleep. A cot or cot bed mattress should be comfortable and supportive. You should like for a mattress that is suitable for the feet-to-foot sleeping position recommended by health professionals and all come with a range of washable covers.

Will a twin size bed set fit a toddler bed with a crib mattress?
If I understand your question correctly, is will a twin size comforter and accessories fit a toddler size bed/mattress? Well, a standard toddler/crib mattress is typically 27x52 and a twin mattress is 39x75, so the twin comforter will probably be a bit big, but not so much that you can't use it.
In fact, it might be nice to have the comforter hanging a bit lower on the sides to hide the box spring. The only thing that might not fit would be a "skirt" for the box spring, but you could always fold it in the middle and unfinished end to fit the bed.
Personally I use a king size comforter for my queen bed because I like how it looks hanging lower on the sides.
Hope this helps!
