CRAZY Cat Help Please!!!?

We have a neutered male11 month cat. Hes sooo crazy. Sometimes he can be mean and aggressive. We talked to the vet, and he said our cat was "playing aggressively". The vet said that a good solution would be to get another kitten. He has a large cat condo to play and climb on and many toys. Me and my husband play with him almost everyday. But he still acts like a nut. Just the other day he lunged at my chest, he didn't scratch me, but still. Im currently 7 months preggers and im just worried on how the cat will react to the new baby. Will adding another cat help?

Since playing with him doesn't seem to be doing the trick, get some catnip spray, put it on some of his soft toys, and let him play with them. The catnip will make him "feisty" for a few minutes, but then he'll calm down and take a nap.

Feliway infuser is supposed to be of some help, too. Look for each of these at your pet store.

If you decide to get another cat, get another neutered male....a 5 month old would be good. In my experience, males are more loving and cuddly than females. My females "squabble" with each other, but my males get along with everyone.

If you go to your shelter and find one, you'll be saving a life, too. Since you're already 7 mos pregnant, you might consider doing this SOON, so that they get used to each other BEFORE another "change" in the house.
