Children love nothing better than playing “let’s pretend” and one of their favourite pastimes within this role playing activity is being a grown up and acting like one of their favourite role models; either mummy or daddy.

About the Author
What message do you think the commercials showing disobedient kids send?
I'm seeing this one with a boy riding a big wheel through the house and enters the living room, where his parents are. They're reacting as though it's perfectly okay. I recall two teen girls fighting over a ringing cell phone. How about the boy drawing on the wooden furniture and his mom just happily wiping a cleaner over the marks?
I guess the well-behaved is boring.
I think these commercials are reflecting the youth of today and the parents who refuse to punish bad or unruly behaviour.
