GUYS in their 20s--Do you think this a good idea? Or too over the top?

My bf is in his late 20s and I know he wants a John Deere hat. So I've decided to get him one for our anniversary (don't worry, it's not one of the "big" anniversaries). Do you think it would be over the top if I put the hat on a teddy bear and gave it to him? Build a bear makes some that coordinate a whole outfit. Personally, I think it's adorable, but I don't want him to think it's stupid! My bf is pretty young at heart though, so I think he might like it. Or it could be one of those things that guys would think is gay!

The bear has overalls and everything, but I just don't want to get him something that looks like it's for a little kid, even if I do think it's cute...here is a picture!

A hat on a bear is something YOU think is cute. Try to think from his POV. Unless he has a large collection of teddy bears, he will not much care for the idea. Oh, he'll fake that he likes it to spare your feelings, but he won't like it.

How about you tell him you have a gift for him and to wait in another room. Then go to the room where he is waiting wearing nothing but the hat. Say something like "I got this hat for you but I think it might look better on me, what do you thinkg?"
