Baby Boy Shower Ideas and Decorations

Deciding on Baby Boy Shower Decorations can seem a little difficult at first. So many ideas to choose from. Are you going to have a theme? Which theme? Winnie the pooh, disney, bears,or maybe you have no idea what so ever. But with a little bit of thought and some planning you will throw the perfect baby shower.

Is dad into golf? If so, you can decorate the party with some golfing banners. You can go to a party supply store, or search the internet, and find a table cloth, cups, and napkins that have golf clubs and balls on them.

Ask mom if the baby's room is going to have a theme to it. Noah's Ark, ducks, disney charactors? Finding cups and plates with ducks on them is not difficult. Or you could just go with something as simply as "It's a boy" theme and have lots of blue balloons and ribbons.

Teddy Bears are versitile and not just for girls. In fact bears are a very popular decoration. It could be Winne the Pooh, or just bears in general. You can find many cups, plates, napkins, and banners with bears on them.

Once you have made your decision on the decorations, Try to keep everything else with the same theme. A uniformed shower will make a party the quest will remember. If you decided on the ducks, get the invitations, favors, baby cake, etc. with ducks on them. Once the quest know how the party is themed it will be easy for them to decide on a gift to bring.

Try to stick with some kind of theme it will make the rest of your decorating ideas that much easier. It does not take much and it is very inexpensive to decorate for the party. A little imagination and some thought and you are on your way to a beautifully decorated party.

Disney World with a Baby and 5 year old?

What is the best kind of schedule to go with, with a young one and a 9 month old? We have park hoppers and meal plan for July. What are the best ways to keep cooled off during the day and keep the kids from having meltdowns from being tired?

We've done EXACTLY what you're about to do, except we did it in October. . Our grand-kids were five years old and six months old the first time we took them. I get a bit impatient when I hear people say "don't take the baby; they won't remember anything." So what? The baby is free anyway, and they'll be a lot happier zooming around with its parents than with some babysitter, right?

Please do stay on Disney property, and take advantage of the extra magic hours, both early and late. Be at the parks as soon as they open on extra magic hours days, stay until lunchtime, then head back to the hotel for lunch, naps and pool time. Then go back to the parks that have evening extra magic hours and stay as late as the kids comfortably can manage.

Aggravating as it is to drag a stroller around, do take the 9 month olds own stroller, rather than renting one. The baby will feel a lot happier having its familiar stroller. Take plenty of diapers, formula, food and whatever into the parks. Locate the baby care areas in each park. They will be marked on the park maps, or just ask one of the helpful cast members.

When it comes to rides, you can do a baby swap on the rides that are too much for the kids. Just tell the cast member at the beginning of each ride that you want to do a baby swap...they'll tell you what to do.
